I like to have on hand ingredients and mixtures in small quantities to quickly add to what I’m cooking.  One of the first I started preparing was tomato plops.  It is rare that I want to use an entire can of tomato paste at one time. Put some plastic wrap on a plate or small cutting board.  Spoon out “plops” of tomato paste. Put them into the freezer for about 1 1/2 hours then cover them with the edges of the plastic and put them in a quart freezer bag. Squeeze out the air. Simple!

I get use the Kirkland Organic Tomato Paste since it is nothing but tomatoes.
